Fifty years ago, Lewis Badalamenti purchased Rusty's. Through his creative efforts, including his art work, Rusty's has evolved into one of the area's finest restaurants.

The stories of Rusty's Restaurant are rich and full of life. The original brick walls of a trading post built in 1819 still remain in the center of Rusty's Restaurant. The trading post was operated by the Poag brothers until 1852 and was frequented by fur trappers and Indians.

In addition to various pieces of marble and porcelain statuary in the main dining room, you will find two large marble wall statues in the front of the room were donated to the Vienna Opera House in 1861 by Baron Hirsch. They were removed from the building after it was demolished by bombs during World War II.

On behalf of Mr. Badalamenti and our staff, we sincerely hope you spend an evening with us at Rusty's Restaurant.
